Golds in shing jea? - Guild Wars Forums

I noticed a sword skin I would like for my monk, and it only drops in shing jea. Is it possible to get a shing jea gold drop?

Yep. Let me guess, it was a Sunqua Blade, right? Those drop max just north of the harbor.

i got a gold -5e, 15% always, req 7, 14-25 hammer yesterday, from a silly yeti outside of the monestary

so yes.
but i wouldnt count on the chests. iv never seen a gold from those

i have seen gold in chest before fighting near cap son if i remember right but never seen max on the island.

I haven't seen any max items drop there but I've seen some max mods.

Yep, I'm looking for a sunqua blade, and maybe a broadsword which my friend would buy from me.
EDIT:I got a gold wolf hammer, but now i'm farming above the harbor.

If it follows the guidelines from prophecies, it will drop extremely rarely from level 15 or 16 (I don't have the chart with me and haven't looked at it in a while, but I think that I'm right).

You are, or at least thats what it says in the Guidebook i have. Your best bet would be to farm lvl 18 things or higher.

the only max golds i got on shing jea where from lesser grasps during the dragon festival, so if anet decides to have another festival that will be your shot at max golds.

Yea, it would be extremly rare/near impossible to get a max gold since the highest lvl non boss monster is lvl 16 (I think) on Shing Jea.
